It is a wrong approach when you write one resume and cover letter and send it everywhere – you need to customize it to the position requirements of each company. 

13. Provide references that will be decisive in whether you are invited for a job interview or not. Be aware that you need to practice your networking skills to be able to find trustworthy people who could provide a good reference letter for you in order to justify and prove your qualifications.
